With its box office pre-sales, "Pushpa 2" is already shattering previous records. The film, which will open in theaters on december 5th, is doing exceptionally well both in india and the United States. More than 54,000 tickets have been sold in the USA, and a staggering 1.5 million USD has been reserved in advance for the premiere performances. This is enormous, and the film will become as well-known overseas as rrr if word of mouth supports it.
 
The film must earn at least 2.45 million USD in paid previews if it hopes to place among the top 5 indian films in the US market. And it is currently only 0.9 million behind. Baahubali 2 is ranked fifth on the list, followed by Devara and Salaar, which had respective ratings of 2.8 and 2.6. With 3.46 million USD in the coffers, rrr comes in second, while Kalki: 2898 AD comes in first with 3.9 million. pushpa 2 is likely to reach at least 3 million copies in the final week before its release, and it has a strong chance of becoming the top film on the list.

The movie is expected to shatter various records.
