As per report Robert Vadra, businessman and husband to congress leader priyanka gandhi, hinted at a potential entry into politics, saying that if the public wanted him, he would join. His comment came soon after priyanka gandhi won the mp seat during wayanad lok sabha by-polls. In a recent instagram post, Vadra shared a video of his conversation, in which he alluded to joining politics. He captioned the video, “Will join soon."
Meanwhile in the video, when asked about his involvement in electoral politics, Vadra responded, “Right now, whatever the public wants will happen. Nothing will happen by my wish. This is Priyanka’s time, not mine. I will do it for Priyanka. I will do it for myself later." He expressed happiness over his wife priyanka Gandhi’s recent election as a Member of parliament from Wayanad. Vadra had previously expressed his intention to contest the Amethi seat during the lok sabha elections, however, he did not get a ticket back then. His latest statement raised questions about his future political moves. The BJP, which frequently accused the congress of nepotism, may seize this opportunity to further its narrative if Vadra enters politics.
Even though Vadra often suggested he would enter politics at some point, this is the closest he has come to a formal announcement. Political analysts have speculated that priyanka gandhi, rather than Rahul, could be the congress party’s future leader. If Vadra does make his political debut, it could be a significant development for the congress, which is currently struggling.
