A lady died in a stampede at the sandhya theater in hyderabad during the showing of pushpa 2, which led to the arrest of actor Allu Arjun. According to reports, the actor was brought to the Chikkadapally police station.
 
On december 4, a sizable throng gathered at sandhya Theatre in hopes of catching a glimpse of the actor. While her eight-year-old kid was hospitalized, Revathi, a 39-year-old lady, unfortunately died from asphyxiation. On december 5, the police filed a case against Arjun, his security team, and the theater management after receiving a complaint from the woman's family.


The city police have registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under sections 105 and 118(1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Chikkadpally police station based on the complaint lodged by the deceased woman, Revathi's family.

Three people have been arrested as part of the continuing inquiry, according to hyderabad police, including the senior manager, the lower balcony in-charge, and a theater co-owner.
 
According to police, a sizable crowd had gathered at the theater to see the movie and get a look at the main performers. But no one had been told of their visit by the performers' team or the theater administration.
 
"The theatre management did not make any additional provisions regarding security to manage the crowd nor was there any separate entry or exit for the actors team though the theatre management had information about their arrival," added the statement.
