Is this the prize money received by chess champion Gukesh?

The prize money has been announced by the Chess Federation for Gukesh, who won the 2024 World Chess championship title and became the youngest world champion. 46 percent of the total prize money for the final was given to the Chinese player. Gukesh received only 54 percent of the prize money. A total of 2.5 million US dollars was announced as the prize money for the final match between Chinese player Ding Liran and India's Gukesh Chess Championship. This is approximately 21.2 crores in indian currency. A total of 14 rounds were held in this final.
In this situation, two lakh US dollars (1.69 crore rupees in indian currency) were announced as the prize money for each winning player. Accordingly, Gukesh, who won three of these 14 matches, was given six lakh dollars (5.07 crore rupees in indian currency), and Ding Liran, who won two matches, was given four lakh dollars (3.38 crore rupees in indian currency) from the total prize money. While $1 million out of the $2.5 million prize money was shared between the winning matches, the remaining $1.5 million was divided equally between the two players. Accordingly, Gukesh received a total of $1.35 million (11.45 crore rupees in indian currency). Chinese player Ding Liran received $1.15 million (9.75 crore rupees in indian currency) as prize money. There is not much difference in the prize money awarded to the champion Gukesh and the loser Ding Liren. This is because the amount is given based on the performance of the players.
