prime minister Narendra Modi reached the holy land of Teerthraj Prayagraj on friday (13 December). During this, he prayed at Triveni Sangam and wished for the successful organization of Mahakumbh to be held from 13 january to 26 February.

On this occasion, prime minister Narendra Modi also took a pledge for global welfare by performing aarti of Triveni of Ganga, yamuna and Saraswati. The entire program was completed amidst Vedic mantras through Tirtha priests. PM Modi also offered Akshat, Chandan, Roli, flowers and clothes at Triveni. Earlier, prime minister Modi also took blessings of prominent saints. On this occasion, chief minister Yogi Adityanath and governor Anandi Ben patel were also present with the Prime Minister.

PM arrived by Nishadraj Cruise

prime minister Narendra Modi reached Sangam Nose by boarding Nishadraj Cruise. He boarded the cruise via the floating jetty at Kila Ghat. Wearing a white kurta-pyjama, blue jacket and maroon shawl, PM Modi boarded the cruise and after standing on the deck, he admired the waves of Yamuna.

From here, he was seen roaming around and observing the whole area. After this, he also enjoyed a stroll on the river cruise. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and governor Anandi Ben patel once again welcomed him at Sangam Nose. After this, prime minister Narendra Modi met the saints and greeted them. During this, a saint presented a pearl necklace to prime minister Narendra Modi.

PM performed Puja Archana

After this, prime minister Modi directly reached the pandal built on Sangam Nose. The priests present here made him sit on the seat. chief minister Yogi Adityanath and governor Anandiben patel also sat on the seat next to prime minister Modi. prime minister Narendra Modi performed Puja archana amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras by the priests. The priests of the pilgrimage also made him sip water. prime minister Narendra Modi stood up and performed Jalabhishek and Dudhbhishek of Triveni.
