During the parliament winter session on friday (13 December), there was a discussion on '75 years of glorious journey of the Constitution of India'. Regarding this, National President of azad Samaj party (Kanshi Ram) and Nagina mp Chandrashekhar azad fiercely targeted the ruling and opposition parties.

Chandrashekhar azad said that I listened to the debate in the house all day. He said sarcastically that now the practice of digging is going on in the country. There are temples under all the mosques and god knows what is under the temple, many things are being dug out and allegations are being made.

'The Constitution is protecting everyone'

While talking to ABP News, Nagina mp Chandrashekhar azad said that no party is the country, these parties are just accusing each other. He said that no one is protecting the Constitution, rather the Constitution is protecting everyone. The Constitution gave rights and respect to everyone and we are all under the protection of the Constitution. Chandrashekhar azad said that if the Constitution did not exist today, I would not have been an MP. If the Constitution did not exist, the President of the country would not have been a woman and that too from a class which did not have many rights and facilities.

Taking a dig at prime minister Narendra Modi, Chandrashekhar azad said, the prime minister calls himself from the backward class. He would know better how much political and social truth is there in this, but if the Constitution did not exist, he would not have been the prime minister either. He further said, "The Constitution has given equal opportunity to crores of women of this country, the deprived sections of the country, the youth and the people who were on the margins."
