The highest AQI was recorded in Narela at 784, Bhalswa landfill at 739, punjabi Bagh at 646, Alipur at 633, Dwarka at 632, Jangpura at 618, Vasandhra Enclave at 615, rohini at 599, Shahdara at 585, Hastsal at 583 and Bali nagar at 515 which falls in the critical category. AQI reaching this level can prove fatal for people's health.
IMD's yellow alert
The weather department has predicted dense fog on Wednesday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 24 degrees Celsius and 6 degrees Celsius respectively. The IMD has issued a dense fog alert for delhi NCR during December 18 to 20. Further decrease in maximum and minimum temperatures is expected from Thursday.
Minimum temperature 2 degrees below normal
