The deadline for the free Aadhaar upgrades on its web portal, myAadhaar, has been extended once more by the UIDAI. Individuals have until june 14, 2025, to make modifications to their Aadhaar cards. Originally, december 14 was the deadline for updating the Free Aadhaar card. To give people more time to contribute information, the government has extended the deadline for updating the details.
 
People can update their information during this period without having to pay anything. There is no charge for this service.

This program allows the bearer of an Aadhaar card to change their demographic data, including their name, date of birth, address, and phone number.
 
One must go to the Aadhaar center to modify items like fingerprints, iris scans, or photos. The owner of the Aadhaar card must spend a specific sum to accomplish this.


How You Can Update the Details?

• Visit the official site, which is 'myAadhaar'.
• After this, the Aadhaar cardholder needs to log in by entering the Aadhaar card number and the OTP. The OTP will be received on the number linked to the Aadhaar Card.
• The cardholder will need to verify the details and do the correction he wants to do.
• The Aadhaar Card holder will need to submit the document as proof of the details that the person is updating.
• Then the person needs to send the update request and note the 14-digit number for tracking purposes of the application.
• After it gets approved, the final step involves the downloading of an Aadhaar card from the site.
