Take medical waste back to Kerala..!? 3 days deadline!

'The medical waste dumped in tirunelveli should be taken back to Kerala. The kerala government should take responsibility and remove it within 3 days,' the Southern Regional National Green Tribunal has ordered. Allegations were made that medical waste from kerala has been dumped in tirunelveli district. tamil Nadu bjp leader Annamalai, opposition leader EPS, and others are demanding action. The Southern Region National Green Tribunal has conducted a suo motu inquiry into this. The tamil Nadu government lawyer had said, 'The tribunal should order the kerala government to bear the costs of removing biomedical waste brought in trucks from kerala and dumped in tamil Nadu.' The order issued by the Green Tribunal today (Dec. 19) is as follows:

* Medical waste dumped in tirunelveli should be taken back to Kerala.

Kerala should bear the cost of removing garbage dumped in tamil Nadu; Green Tribunal.
* If it is not taken to kerala, the kerala government should hand it over to the Waste Management Company.


* The waste can be taken to kerala or handed over to the tirunelveli company.

* kerala should take responsibility for removing the medical waste dumped in Tirunelveli.

* The Southern Region National Green Tribunal has ordered that the kerala government should take responsibility and remove it within 3 days.
