In pune, Maharashtra, a startling event on a moving bus has rekindled discussions about vigilantism and women's safety. On social media, a video of a woman beating a guy who allegedly sexually assaulted her while intoxicated has gone viral.

The accused allegedly tried to improperly touch the woman while sitting next to her, and the video shows the woman giving him 26 slaps. He apologized several times, but the woman's rage persisted until the bus conductor stepped in to calm things down. According to accounts, the woman allegedly insisted that the bus be driven to the closest police station.

According to the pune Mirror, the woman, a Shirdi teacher, made sure the man was transported to a police chowki close to Shaniwarwada as she was traveling with her husband and children. But there were no police officers around at the time. She called former corporator ajay Khedekar after waiting for about thirty minutes, and cops finally showed up.

Social media users are split about the woman's behavior, sparking a heated debate about the event. Her choice to physically attack the accused was questioned by some, while others praised her bravery.

One user commented, "Best. Every woman should start doing this." Another added, "Much needed awareness... public places are not for one who is on live alcohol dose." However, dissenting voices argued, "I believe any law doesn't give her a right to physically assault someone like this! She can file a complaint against him! But what she did... you can see."

Another user reflected on the larger issue, stating, "If he truly did something wrong, he should face the police. Taking law into your own hands is unacceptable. It's unclear what actually happened, yet people are quick to judge him and paint her as the hero. social media can be incredibly cruel."
