After a love marriage, the woman and her ex-husband had been together for 12 years. However, the wife began seeing another man who was also the father of two children. The ex-husband made the unexpected decision to divorce his wife and let her wed her partner.
 
The boyfriend symbolized their union by applying vermilion to the woman's forehead during the ceremony. In attendance, the ex-husband assured everyone that the couple, not him, would be responsible for handling any future problems.
