Prime minister Narendra Modi has received plaudits from American singer Mary Millben for recognising Jesus Christ as a teacher of "love, harmony, and brotherhood" during a christmas event hosted in New delhi by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India.
"The teachings of Lord Christ celebrate love, harmony, and brotherhood," Millben wrote on X. We must all do our part to strengthen this spirit, said PM Modi.
"Bless you, PM Modi," she continued. The greatest gift and illustration of love is Jesus Christ. I am grateful to PM Modi for publicly praising my saviour, Jesus Christ, at the indian Bishops. christmas festivities. I was moved by what you said.
She also sent christmas greetings to her indian siblings. As a global leader, Millben has praised PM Modi's efforts to promote peace and has been a supporter and well-wisher of India.
Millben expressed her support for Republican donald trump last month as the US presidential election approached its conclusion, saying she thought trump was the superior option for fortifying ties with India.
"Compared to President Trump's four years in office, the present government has not been as cordial with India. That's a fact, not an opinion," she declared.According to Millben, the tight ties that Trump's prior administration had with indian Prime minister Modi are crucial for future collaboration. "President trump is the best leader for what is necessary to strengthen the US-India relationship," she said, adding that india had sent positive expressions of support for Trump.
Millben's fervent support for trump as the election draws to a close highlights her desire for a president that strengthens not only American unity but also ties with other countries, especially India.
