According to sources a new signal free route that runs beneath the BKC connector and Avenue-3 (WeWork) has been opened by the mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to connect the SEBI Building to Avenue-5. Perhaps currently there are six lanes on this 180-meter missing link. According to the MMRDA, three of them have already opened for traffic, and the other three will follow shortly.
Meanwhile it was reported that MMRDA claims that it was finished in three and a half months, which is half the time that was first anticipated, and that it will greatly lessen traffic at the BKC One Junction and BKC Connector Junction. With this expansion, there will be three different ways for commuters from the Eastern Express Highway (EEH) to enter BKC.
Furthermore as per report by guaranteeing signal-free traffic, the new road cuts down on travel time and makes it possible to link seamlessly from the eastern suburbs to BKC in just fifteen minutes. For cars going to and from the National Stock Exchange side, Avenue-5, and important BKC icons like the MCA Club, consulates, and MTNL, the new road guarantees smooth communication. With this expansion, there will be three different ways for commuters from the Eastern Express Highway (EEH) to enter BKC.
