Anna university Rape: Based on the complaint, a case has been registered at the Kotturpuram AWPS and an investigation is underway. The police officials are investigating in collaboration with the university Internal Complaints Committee (ICC-POSH). Four special teams have been formed under the leadership of the Kotturpuram Assistant Commissioner to arrest the culprit in this regard. During the investigation. Based on scientific evidence, Gnanasekaran (37) from Kottur has been arrested for the crime.
The suspect has also confessed. He runs a biryani stall on the footpath and is doing business. Investigations are underway to see if he is involved in any other crime. Surveillance cameras have been installed on the university campus and security officers have been appointed.
