Hearing this, Chandran was shocked and did not want to pay the bribe and informed the Anti-Corruption Police. Based on the information, the Anti-Corruption police advised Chandran to give suman the chemical-coated rupee notes. Accordingly, suman went to the Taluk office with the money.
Investigation: However, since the surveyor was not there, he gave the money to his assistant Ponnaiyan from the Uthukottai area. At that time, Ponnaiyan was caught red-handed and interrogated. At that time, Suman told Ponnaiyan to receive the money. After confirming this, the police arrested both suman and Ponnaiyan and are conducting an investigation.
