Congress cancels all of the upcoming seven-day programs...

In observance of former prime minister manmohan Singh, who died at AIIMS in New Delhi, the congress declared on thursday, december 26, 2024, that all party official events, including its foundation day festivities, would be canceled for the next seven days. At the age of 92, Singh, the man behind India's economic reforms, passed away thursday evening at the All india Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi.

In honor of Dr. manmohan Singh, the congress has canceled its 'Jai Bapu, jai Bhim, jai Samvidhan Rally' in Belgaum, karnataka, on Friday, according to congress national secretary and karnataka in-charge Randeep Surjewala.

All of the indian National Congress's official events, including its foundation day festivities, will be canceled for the next seven days in observance of the late former prime minister, according to congress general secretary in-charge organization K C Venugopal. This encompasses all outreach and agitational initiatives. On january 3, 2025, party programs will start up again. During this time of mourning, the party flag will be flown at half-mast," Venugopal stated on X.

All of the top party leaders were present at the congress Working Committee meeting in Belagavi, Karnataka, when Singh passed away.
