Guntur Kaaram is the twelfth of director trivikram Srinivas's twelve films to date. Pawan Kalyan's agnyaathavaasi is the only real failure in his whole career. A similar situation has now recurred with guntur Kaaram in 2024.

Guntur Kaaram is the second-biggest letdown in Trivikram's career, after Agnyaathavaasi. This is because of the excitement, anticipation, and the esteemed pairing of mahesh babu and trivikram, who are working together for the third time.
