India's economic policies are seriously flawed, which frequently result in high taxes on the middle class while leaving large corporations unaffected. However, why do the wealthiest citizens of the nation never rank highest on the list of taxpayers? Even though Ambani and adani are at the pinnacle of the nation's affluent, Shah Rukh Khan was the biggest taxpayer this year. Their many sources of income are mostly to blame for this.

The majority of the money that big performers make is taxed as personal income from their sponsorships and ventures. The majority of Ambani's fortune, however, comes from his firm, where he receives large dividends on shares and keeps a smaller portion of his earnings for himself. Other strategies for avoiding tax slabs include demonstrating earnings and using ESOPs to obtain bank loans that are completely tax-free. Because business employees pay substantial taxes on their incomes, the system has many loopholes for the wealthy.

If the middle class sees their money being used well, they might not be so opposed to giving up a portion of their income. The government depends largely on these taxes, but instead of enhancing institutions and infrastructure, it just provides freebies in exchange. Only when people are agitated can the economic system undergo the major changes that are required. Leaders who fail to fulfill their commitments should be held responsible by the public.
