Jaggery - four cups cut into small pieces
Ghee - 1 cup
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Fenugreek powder - 2 tablespoons (roasted and ground)
Flaxseed powder - 2 cups (roasted and ground)
Dry coconut - half cup grated
Poppy seeds - 2 tablespoons (roasted)
Cardamom powder - half teaspoon
Almonds, cashews - 1/4 cup chopped
Dry ginger powder - 1 teaspoon

How to prepare healthy and wholesome laddus for the winter

First, toast the flaxseeds and fenugreek separately in a skillet. Once they have cooled, crush them into a powder in a mixer. ghee is now heated in a pan. Stir in flour and cook until golden brown. Avoid letting it burn since this will ruin the laddu's flavor. Keep it in a different bowl now. Melt the jaggery well in a separate pan with water. Don't let the flame go too high. Turn off the gas until the jaggery is uniform. Allow it to cool.

Now, thoroughly combine the flour with the fenugreek, flaxseed powder, poppy seeds, all chopped dried fruits, ginger powder, coconut, and cardamom powder. Now, gradually add the jaggery and mix with your hands. The mixture should be able to be formed with the hands into spherical balls, similar to laddus. You may also add extra ghee if it seems dry. Continue to give it a round laddus form now. To make it a bit tight, keep it on a plate and let it sit in the open for one to two hours. Store it in a tightly sealed container. This nutritious, flavorful, and healthful laddu is kept for two to three weeks.
