Cold has been increasing continuously in bihar for the last one week. Especially in the southern areas of the state including the capital patna, as well as in the western areas of North bihar, cold day conditions prevail with severe cold. According to the weather forecast, there is no relief from bone-chilling cold in bihar yet. Severe cold conditions will persist throughout bihar till makar sankranti (January 14). Also, dense fog will prevail in all the districts in the morning and at night.

According to the Meteorological Department, from today (January 08, 2025), the minimum and maximum temperatures will fall by 2-3 degrees Celsius for the next two days. On january 10, a strong western disturbance will affect north-west India. This will cause more snowfall in the mountainous areas and its effect will be felt in all the districts of the state. There will be a special increase in cold.

How will the weather be today?

Talking about the weather in bihar yesterday (Wednesday), there is no special change in the temperature. There is a possibility of one to two degrees decrease. There will be no sunshine during the day. Cold conditions will remain throughout the day. Today, there is a forecast of dense fog in the morning in all the districts of the state including the capital Patna.

On tuesday also, the day temperature in the southern and western parts of the state had dropped by five to six degrees. There was no sunshine throughout the day in many districts. Also, the condition of cold day remained. On Monday, there was an increase in the day temperature and suddenly the maximum temperature of patna reached 23.3 degrees. On tuesday, the mercury fell by 7.1 degrees and the maximum temperature came down to 16.02 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature on tuesday was 25 degrees Celsius in Purnia. The lowest temperature was recorded at 9.4 degrees Celsius in Chapra. Even today, the mercury can fall by two to three degrees in the minimum temperature.
