A startling video of a business process outsourcing (BPO) worker using a koyta (machete) to attack a female coworker in a parking lot close to their place of employment in Pune's Yerawada neighborhood has gone viral on social media. The event happened on january 7 at around 6:15 p.m. at the Yerawada parking lot of WNS Global Services, a BPO company. The defendant has been identified as Shivajinagar resident krishna Satyanarayan Kanoja, 30.
 
Kanoja was standing in the parking lot when the event occurred, as can be seen in the video. Kanoja, who was upset about a disagreement, severely injured Shubhada shankar Kodare's (28), the victim, after she got off the bus by attacking her right hand with a koyta.
 

"Dead from excessive bleeding"
 
For a while, Kanoja held the koyta in his palm, preventing onlookers from stepping in. He was beaten by the people as soon as he dropped the koyta. For treatment, Kodare was taken right away to Sahyadri Hospital on nagar Road. She subsequently passed away from her wounds, nevertheless, as a result of massive blood loss. Originally from Karad, Kodare has spent the last four years residing in Balajinagar.

Speaking to The Free press Journal, Senior police Inspector ravindra Shelke of the Yerawada police station stated, "They were both employed by the same Yerawada-based firm. The preliminary investigation revealed that Kodare had accepted around Rs four lakhs from Kanoja in installments for her father's medical care. There was a disagreement because Kanoja was requesting that she refund his money. The accused has been taken into custody and is being questioned.
