Dr. harris states: "SARS-CoV-2, rhinovirus, RSV, seasonal flu, and HMPV (Human Metapneumovirus) have all increased in china in recent years. But there's no need to be alarmed about HMPV. Such illnesses frequently spread amid seasonal shifts, and this occurs annually. Recently, this video became popular on social media.
 
The WHO spokeswoman went on to say, "Respiratory infections have gone up in china, but they are still under control at this point. Consequently, respiratory infections are not a cause for concern. Data from china also showed that this pathogen had spread the previous year. Hospital admissions and the number of cases are significantly lower this year. This illness has not required the Chinese government to declare a state of emergency. To put it another way, the WHO declared that there is no cause for alarm regarding the HMPV virus.

WHO also provided HMPV assurances. The World health Organization went on to say that this virus is not a cause for alarm. The virus is not new. In 2001, the virus was initially discovered. The virus is currently making a comeback because of the changing season, but this is not the reason for concern.
 

Could Death Be Caused by the HMPV Virus?
 
The WHO spokeswoman cautioned the public in addition to offering comfort. The primary indicators of the HMPV virus include cold, cough, and flu-like symptoms. This infection can, however, occasionally manifest in a serious manner. The patient may therefore get a serious illness. The WHO spokeswoman specifically cautioned youngsters and the elderly. Additionally, people with compromised immune systems are more vulnerable. Nonetheless, there is very little chance of dying from this infection.
