In the ongoing politics over adding and deleting names of voters in the delhi assembly elections, politics has intensified over a statement by aam aadmi party convenor and former Union Territory chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. kejriwal alleged that people associated with the bjp have applied to add names of 13,000 new voters in the voter list and have demanded the cancellation of 5,500 voter entries to 'influence' the voting in their favor. In a formal complaint to the election Commission, kejriwal had expressed concern over applications made to add 13,000 new voters between december 15 and january 8.
