The government of India is going to make many big agreements in the coming time to strengthen its defense sector. The Modi government has planned to finalize 4 big defense agreements before the financial year ends on march 31.


According to the information, during this time a deal worth more than Rs 1.5 lakh crore will be made to include fighter jets, submarines, helicopters, and cannons in the indian fleet. This will increase the firepower and combat capabilities of India's armed forces.


India will do this big deal with France

According to the report, india is soon going to sign a deal of about Rs 63,000 crore with France for the direct acquisition of 26 Rafale-Marine fighter jets. These will be deployed on the deck of the aircraft carrier INS Vikrant.


This seal includes 22 single-seat maritime jets and four twin-seat trainers for the Navy as well as weapons, simulators, training, and logistics support for five years as well as the purchase of parts for the 36 Rafales included in the IAF fleet. The final approval of the cabinet Committee is awaited for this deal.


PM Modi will do another big deal

PM Modi is going to visit france on 11 and 12 february for the Artificial Intelligence Summit. During this time he will sign another agreement of Rs 38,000 crore with France. In this deal, india will take three additional Scorpene diesel-electric submarines and Air-Independent Propulsion (AIP) for long underwater survival. It will be manufactured at Mazgaon Docks in Mumbai. It will be deployed by 2031.


Apart from this, the government of India is going to make a deal of about Rs 53,000 crore for 156 indigenous Prachand light combat helicopters and Rs 8,500 crore for 307 indigenous Advanced Towed Artillery Gun Systems (ATAGS). New Prachand helicopters manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited are being purchased for areas like siachen glacier and Eastern Ladakh. At the same time, ATAGS designed and developed by DRDO has a range of up to 48 km. It will be manufactured by Bharat Forge and Tata Advanced Systems.
