Industry insiders and record monitors now find humor in the assertions of Game Changer's box office receipts. Despite the film's poor advance sales and terrible word-of-mouth from day one, the directors surprised everyone by releasing a poster declaring a worldwide total of Rs 186 crore on day one.

Director ram gopal varma weighed in with a satirical post on X: "If Game Changer cost Rs 450 crore, then RRR, with its extraordinary visuals, should have cost Rs 4500 crore. If Game Changer's day-one collections are Rs 186 crore, pushpa 2's collections should have been Rs 1860 crore. The fundamental requirement of truth is that it should sound believable, and for Game Changer, even a lie should sound more believable."

The main problem, ignoring the sarcasm, is "believability." The producers are reportedly falsifying figures, adding crores every day, to depict a great global profit despite the film's dismal performance. "I think the main idea of the makers and ram Charan's office could be to show that this film at least collected more than pushpa 1: The Rise," a source stated when questioned. They could be trying to portray the movie as having outperformed pushpa 1, but even that is a challenging endeavor, since it can't even hope to near the collections of pushpa 2. They thus want to adjust the figures appropriately and end there.

According to the source, "At least by doing so, they can claim that even a flop, disastrous film starring ram Charan managed to collect big, despite no ticket price hikes." This is the reason for the misleading strategy.

He said, "It's an attempt to keep ram Charan's market value safe."

Popular collection-tracking website Sacnilk indicates that the film's real international income is closer to Rs 130 crore, despite the creators' claims of a Rs 300 crore total.
