Lauren Powell Jobs, wife of late apple co-founder Steve Jobs, has come to india to attend the Mahakumbh 2025 organized in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, a letter written by Steve Jobs in 1974 regarding Kumbh remains a topic of discussion. In this letter, Jobs expressed his interest in the Kumbh mela and his desire to come to India. It was recently auctioned by Bonhams for US $ 5,00,312 (about Rs 4.32 crore).

This letter was written by Jobs to his childhood friend Tim Brown on February 23 on his 19th birthday. After the emergence of this letter, it is believed that Steve Jobs' wife Powell has come to the Mahakumbh to fulfill her husband's wish.

What was written in the letter?

Steve Jobs wrote in the letter, "I am now living on a ranch in the mountains between Los Gatos and Santa Cruz, I want to go to india for the Kumbh mela, which starts in April. I will go sometime in March, although I am not sure about it yet." He wrote "Peace, Steve Jobs" at the end of the letter.

Lauren Powell Jobs' maha Kumbh Yatra

Steve Jobs' wife, Lauren Powell has reached Prayagraj with her 40-member team. On coming to maha Kumbh, her guru Swami Kailashananda gave her a new Hindu name named 'Kamala'. She is participating in spiritual practices like meditation, Kriya yoga and Pranayama. However, she did not take a dip in the Sangam due to allergies caused by heavy crowds on Makar Sankranti. With her arrival, this event has attracted even more attention internationally.

Maha Kumbh 2025 begins

In the maha Kumbh which started on 13 January 2025, so far more than 5 crore 15 lakh devotees have taken a dip of faith in the Sangam. The event will run till February 26, and more than 40 crore people are expected to participate in it.
