On social media, an instance like this was posted. It is evident from the posted video that a police officer's profile has called the family. This family was also aware of the scammer's ruse and deceived him.

An instagram user by the name of Shiv Arora recounted a situation that was similar. He said that a Pakistani number called him on WhatsApp. An image of a police officer was shown on the number.
