According to a statement from GMR hyderabad International airport (GHIA), the government of india launched the program to make travel for qualified passengers quicker, simpler, and safer.
How to apply for FTI-TTP at hyderabad airport
Those who qualify must apply online, and it might take up to a month to register. When applying, applicants must have a passport that is valid for at least six months. Membership in the program will be active until the passport expires.
People must provide biometrics (facial photos and fingerprints) and the required paperwork as part of the application procedure. Following verification, the final permission will be given.
Benefits of the program
By giving pre-verified travelers expedited immigration clearance at both arrival and departure points, the FTI-TTP will ease airport congestion.
To guarantee a seamless experience, hyderabad airport has installed eight electronic gates—four for arrivals and four for departures. Depending on demand, more counters could be added.
Technology-driven initiative
Pradeep Panicker, CEO of GHIA, said, “Hyderabad airport is proud to be part of this initiative, which will simplify and speed up immigration, providing a seamless travel experience for passengers.”
