There have been highs and lows in pooja Hegde's career. She made her debut in three major motion pictures: Mohenjo Daro, starring Hrithik Roshan; Oka laila Kosam, a telugu romantic comedy starring naga Chaitanya; and Mugamoodi, a tamil superhero adventure starring Jiiva. That would be a fantastic beginning for most actresses, and pooja was no exception. After that, she enjoyed big commercial successes including Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4, Mahesh Babu's Maharishi, and Jr. NTR's aravinda sametha Veera Raghava.
In her recent interview, she said, "I always felt in my heart that I would succeed. I never thought about having a backup plan. I really think the cosmos can be won over by a stubborn heart. Of course, there were tough times, but I persevered. In that sense, my mother has always been an inspiration.
I used to develop my career by doing one movie at a time. There was no lineup of scripts for me to pick from. I think now is a good moment to take measured chances. I want to do new things, and I'm hoping the media will be on my side when I do. We should be free to experiment and even fail as performers. We can contribute something fresh in this way. Naturally, I can see why my fans watch my movies, and I'll keep providing them with what they like.
I still can't quite believe how popular I am (laughs). As a youngster, I was quiet, shy, and reserved. There are moments when I feel like a completely different person. Maybe the hindi audience recognized me and came up to me for pictures at the airports after finding my work during the epidemic. It's encouraging to know that they liked my tamil and telugu flicks, even though they might have trouble pronouncing the names.
