Rituals for Som Pradosh Vrat

Take a clean platform or a small altar and place an idol or picture of lord shiva on it.
Offer Water to Lord Shiva: Begin by bathing the idol or picture with ganga jal.
Make Offerings: Present akshat (unbroken rice), belpatra (bilva leaves), sandalwood paste, flowers, fruits, bhaang (hemp), honey, incense sticks, and a lit lamp to Lord Shiva.
Chant the Sacred Mantra: Continuously chant the Panchakshar mantra - Om Namah Shivaya.
Read the shiva Chalisa: Recite the shiva Chalisa, a devotional hymn in praise of Lord Shiva.
Perform the Aarti: Use camphor or a ghee lamp to perform the aarti of Lord Shiva.
Conclude with Prayers: At the end of the worship, pray for the well-being of your family and children. If any errors were made during the ritual, ask for forgiveness.
