Neither an Aadhaar card nor any document was found from the accused which could verify his name or his address. Earlier, the accused has used many names including Vijay Das, Bijoy Das and Mohammad Ilyas.

Whenever he saw CCTV anywhere in the market or on the way, the accused used to hide his face, but the police traced his phone. Wherever the accused was seen, data of active mobile numbers was collected.
The accused used to work in a pub in mumbai earlier. Earlier it was told that he is a resident of Nadia in West Bengal. He will be produced before the court shortly today, where the remand of the accused will be sought. The police arrested the accused from Hiranandani area of thane, Maharashtra. He said that he had gone to Saif's house to steal.
