As he takes office for the second time, US President-elect donald trump pledged on sunday to "avoid World war III" and "the invasion of our borders." On the eve of his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States, he made the statements at a crowded gathering in Washington, DC, as a show of keeping the pledges he made during his campaign last year.

"We are going to give them the best first day, the biggest first week, and the most extraordinary first 100 days of any presidency in American history," trump stated during his speech at the Make America Great Again (MAGA) "victory rally" at the capital One Arena. Additionally, he pledged to reverse executive measures taken by departing President Joe Biden "within hours" of his return to the White House.

By tomorrow evening, the new president pledged to stop "the invasion of our country." In one way or another, all of the unlawful border trespassers will be returning home.

"We intend to recover our riches. To thousands of cheering followers, trump declared, "We are going to unlock the liquid gold that is right under our feet."

Trump emphasized that "we will begin the largest deportation exercise in American history" and promised that his government would swiftly regain control of the nation's borders. However, a large-scale operation like that, which would remove thousands of illegal immigrants, would probably take years and be very expensive.

TRUMP TAKES CREDIT FOR GAZA CEASEFIRE DEAL

Trump stated that if he had been president at the time, the war would not have broken out and claimed responsibility for the ceasefire agreement that ended the 15-month-old battle between israel and Hamas in Gaza.

"As a first step toward enduring peace in the Middle East, we reached a historic ceasefire deal. Only because of our historic triumph in november was this arrangement possible. Just now, the first hostages were freed. "Well," Biden continued, "they made the deal." First of all, if I had been president, the Gaza war would never have occurred," he stated.

Three Israeli captives who had been held captive by Hamas for 471 days since the Palestinian organization's october 7, 2023, onslaught on israel were freed earlier on Sunday. israel responded by releasing 90 Palestinian inmates who had been detained in Israeli prisons.

"In less than three months, our new government has accomplished all of this in the Middle East. We have accomplished more in our four years as president than they have in their four years as president," trump declared.

"I will end the conflict in Ukraine, halt the turmoil in the Middle East, and avert the outbreak of World war III. And you're not aware of our proximity," he said.
