A young doctor in the Bibvewadi region committed suicide by ingesting toxic medication after being deceived by someone posing as single. A Sangli resident is the subject of a case in this respect. The marriage registration website provided the accused's identity. He had used the promise of marriage to coerce the young woman into giving him 10 lakh rupees.
 
The father of the deceased has complained to the police station in Bibvewadi.
 
The dead doctor had registered her name on a matrimony website, the authorities said. The young person who was accused had enrolled on the website. He had a spouse. But when he had registered, he had lied about being unmarried. In his correspondence with the dead, he expressed his eagerness for marriage.

They later met in a hospital in the Dehu region. However, the deceased's family rejected the accused because of his bad behavior. The accused then got in touch with the dead once more and tried to get her to marry him.
 
He repeatedly stole 10 lakh rupees from her. He failed to provide a convincing response when the deceased requested him for money. The two disagreed. The accused then revealed his marital status to her. His wife is pregnant, he remarked. As a result, the deceased was mentally stunned and committed suicide at a Bibwewadi local hospital after consuming toxic medication.
 
Further investigation is being conducted by the Bibvewadi police.
