To reverse 78 of the choices made by Joe Biden's administration, US President donald trump signed a slew of executive orders on monday to start his second term. To the joy of his followers, trump signed the orders in front of them at the capital One Arena and displayed his signature on the signed documents.

Trump's instructions included eliminating the "weaponization of government against the political adversaries of the previous administration," restoring free expression, prohibiting suppression of free speech, and the US's second withdrawal from the paris Agreement.

We will sign executive orders. "First, I will revoke almost 80 radical and destructive executive actions from the previous administration, one of the worst in history," trump declared.

Additionally, trump said that he would issue pardons for individuals who participated in the Capitol riot on january 6, 2021, in which his followers attempted to alter the results of the 2020 election, in which Biden beat Trump.

"I will be issuing pardons to free the captives from january 6 tonight. I'm heading to the Oval office as soon as I get out, and I'll be issuing pardons for many people," he declared.

"So, the job has started. We prevailed. We prevailed. However, the task has begun; we must take them home," he continued.

According to AFP, about 1,600 people have been prosecuted for their roles in the assault on congress by trump supporters who wanted to prevent Joe Biden's election victory from being certified.

Trump called the attackers "patriots," "hostages," and "political prisoners" and pledged to pardon them throughout his presidential campaign.

Here are eight executive orders that trump has signed:

1. Halting 78 Biden-era executive actions
