South films appear to be thriving at the indian box office right now.

They are also gaining popularity in the hindi belt, whether it is through high-profile films like pushpa 2 or low-budget ones like Marco. Now, R madhavan has expressed his frank thoughts on the much-debated South vs. hindi argument. To find out what he said, scroll below.

Madhavan mostly works in hindi and tamil films. He has worked on some outstanding bollywood films, such as Rang De Basanti, Tanu Weds Manu, and 3 Idiots. However, he is also well-known in the South because of movies like Irudhi Suttru, vikram Vedha, and Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.

In an interview with News18 Showsha, R madhavan discussed the key distinctions between telugu, tamil, and malayalam cinema and hindi films. He started by saying, "If you look at the high-budget hindi films that have been released in the past two to three years, they've all been really elitist—movies with themes of patriotism, jingoism, or extremely elitist themes that are sought for worldwide.

On the other hand, the telugu industry and the high-budget films produced by SS rajamouli are deeply anchored in the history of India's smaller towns. Making movies like Baahubali, RRR, or pushpa costs a lot of money. They put a great deal of work into telling these stories and making them powerful.

It should be mentioned, too, that R madhavan also gave the hindi business high marks, stating that they had a wealth of talented people. The actor claims that the tempo and plot elements are the only things that need to be altered. He also acknowledged that it is a fact that one high-profile South movie would ultimately fail at the box office.

Madhavan commended malayalam films for emphasizing performances, characters, and content over money.

R madhavan is now causing a stir with his comeback in Tanu Weds manu 3. He stated that he is unaware of Aanand L. Rai's plans, but he did not exclude the possibility of being replaced in the kangana ranaut co-starrer.
