Soheb Chaudhary alleges that big political party picked him up?
Amidst reports of disappearance of many Pakistani YouTubers, Soheb Chaudhary, owner of Real Entertainment YouTube channel, said that he was threatened to be implicated in a case of tahina-e-religion. He said that it is very easy to implicate anyone in the name of religion in Pakistan. Soheb Chaudhary was missing for 21 days and there were reports on social media that he has been sentenced to death by the Pak Army. However, on tuesday (January 21, 2025), he has again appeared on his YouTube channel. He has told in the video what happened to him in these 21 days.
Soheb Chaudhary alleges that a big political party picked him up from his house at 2 o'clock in the night and pressured him to join the party. During this time, he was threatened and also threatened to be implicated in a case under Article 295 C. Soheb Chaudhary said that Article 295 C is a very strict law in pakistan which provides severe punishment for those who speak against religion.
Soheb Chaudhary said, 'I was told that if you do not join our party, do not support us or do not stand with us, then a case will be filed against you under Article 295 C. Article 295 C is for insulting religion, insulting the Prophet. Three things are very common in pakistan, one is to accuse someone of religion that he has insulted religion and hang him. Then the public will also turn against him and there will be many facilities in the law to punish him. Second, either call him an agent, sometimes an agent of Jews and sometimes an agent of india and it was very easy for me to say this because I do programmes in the context of india and will continue to do so.'
Sohaib Chaudhary said, 'As long as I have a tongue, breath and people like you who watch me, who have brought me from zero to this position, I will continue to do programmes. Today, big political parties request me to join their party, if I don't agree to the request, they pressurize me, if I don't pressurize, they pick me up and take me away through their gunmen. They enter my house at 2 o'clock in the night and pick me up and ask me to join their party.'
Sohaib Chaudhary said, 'Every kind of pressure was put on me. I say that Allah is omnipresent and I was shown and told that there are three FIRs against me. It is very easy to pressurize someone in Pakistan. Even Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto were not safe in such a way that if they came forward in support of the public, they were suppressed.
