The whole indian immigrant population, particularly those on temporary visas like H1-B, has been experiencing sleep problems ever since donald trump took office for his second term as president of the United States. This is due to the fact that, given his reputation for enforcing stringent immigration laws, nobody can predict what modifications trump could propose.

According to one account that has surfaced, indian parents with B-1/B-2 visas arrived at Newark airport and were sent away because they failed to purchase return tickets in advance.

The parents had traveled to the united states with the intention of spending five months with their children. However, they were told by the immigration official at the point of entry that a return ticket is now required under the new 2025 regulations.

In spite of their pleas, the parents were deported straight from the airport back to India.

Since there has been no formal notification that return tickets are required for tourists visiting the united states, this scenario is unique. The immigration officer said that the new 2025 regulations require travelers to enter the united states with a return ticket.

There was no previous notification or explanation of what had changed or what could change soon, but the changes were announced at the port of entry. In order to prevent such circumstances, indian tourists must be very careful now that trump is back in power, make sure all paperwork is in place, and abide by any new regulations that may be implemented.
