ICC ODI Team of the Year..!! Not a single indian player?

The international Cricket Council announced the ODI Team of the Year for 2024. Not a single indian player was on the team. On the contrary, players from Pakistan, sri lanka, and afghanistan have made a large number of appearances. Not only india but also major teams including Australia, England, New Zealand, and south africa did not make it to this team of the best ODI players. There is one main reason for this. All five major teams, including india, did not play many ODIs in 2024. Since the t20 world cup was held in 2024, all the teams played a large number of t20 matches before that. Since the remaining matches of the World Test championship series had to be played later in the year, all the teams also played a large number of Test matches. However, Pakistan, afghanistan, and sri lanka played the most ODIs. india played only three ODIs. Only two matches were played in that series against Sri Lanka. The indian team lost both of them.
Due to this, no indian player was included in this best ODI team. The currently announced ODI team of 2024 has four Sri Lankan players, three Pakistani players three Afghan players, and one West indian player.

Asmatullah Omarzai (Afghanistan) - 12 matches - 417 runs & 17 wickets Wanindu Hasaranga (Sri Lanka) - 10 matches - 26 wickets
Shaheen Afridi (Pakistan) - 6 matches - 15 wickets
Haris Rauf (Pakistan) - 8 matches - 13 wickets
 Allah Ghazanfar (Afghanistan) - 11 matches - 21 wickets.
