Delhi becomes an impenetrable fort on Republic Day!
On Republic Day, the country's capital will be completely under tight security. According to DCP New delhi Devesh Mahala, there is no scope for any kind of lapse in security. A 6-layer multi-layer security ring has been prepared in the capital during the parade. Along with this, more than 60 thousand security personnel have been deployed, out of which 15 thousand soldiers will be deployed only around the duty path. These include paramilitary force personnel, NSG commandos, SPG commandos, bomb detective team, SWAT commandos, quick response team (QRT) and dog squad.
According to the police, more than 7000 CCTV cameras have been installed in New Delhi. Out of which more than 1000 cameras will keep an eye only on the parade route. Face Recognition System (FRS) is being used in these cameras which will help in identifying suspected criminals and terrorists. Data of more than 50000 wanted criminals and terrorists has been fed in the cameras.
Anti aircraft gun and anti drone system deployed
DCP Devesh Mahala said, every person who will come to the Republic Day celebrations will have to pass through the eyes of high definition cameras. If someone's face matches the database, an alarm will be sounded immediately and the concerned security personnel will be informed.
Anti aircraft gun and anti drone system have been installed to prevent any kind of air attack on the occasion of Republic Day. More than 100 snipers will be deployed on high buildings from the night of january 25. Anti aircraft guns have been deployed at 10 places in Lutyens Zone. Apart from this, bomb detective team, SWAT commandos, quick response team (QRT) and dog squad will also be deployed in the parade route and VVIP areas.
Entry will not be possible with fake passes
According to the police, a new feature has been added to the security this time. A QR code has been put on the entry pass so that no one can enter with a fake pass. Even the policemen have a QR code on their passes, which will be scanned to ensure their identity. DCP New delhi has appealed to the people, our force will be deployed at every 20-30 meters. If anyone sees any suspicious person or object, immediately inform the nearest policeman. Your role in security is also very important.
