ZOHO's new CEO..!! Who is this Shailesh Kumar..?

Zoho, a global company headquartered in Chennai, has undergone an unprecedented leadership change. On january 27, the current CEO sridhar Vembu announced on twitter that he will step down from the post of CEO and take on the new post of Chief Scientist. In this post, sridhar Vembu said that he will head Zoho's research and development (R&D) efforts. This confirms that Zoho plans to focus more on the R&D sector in the coming period. Meanwhile, the person who will replace sridhar Vembu as CEO is Shailesh Kumar Davy. Who is this..? ZOHO is not only a Chennai-based company providing software services in more than 50 countries but also a SAAS empire competing with multinational companies like Salesforce and Zendesk.
Unlike other tech startups, ZOHO is an empire built on bootstraps, and Shailesh Kumar Davy was the one who helped sridhar Vembu in this huge growth. In a post published by sridhar Vembu, he announced that Shailesh Kumar Davy will take over as the new Group CEO of ZOHO. Shailesh Kumar Davy is the co-founder of Zoho. According to Shailesh Kumar Davy's LinkedIn profile, he holds a B.Tech in Metallurgy from IIT-Madras and an M.Tech in Industrial Management from IIT-Madras. Before being appointed as the new CEO, Shailesh Kumar served as the Vice President of Engineering at ManageEngine, the IT management arm of Zoho. Shailesh Kumar has experience managing the entire engineering department of Zoho and has played a key role in the growth of the company as a co-founder. This makes Shailesh Kumar well-qualified to lead the company into the future.
