Fatima recalls facing the casting couch
Fatima talked about an awkward encounter she had with a South indian film casting agent. She was uncomfortable with the agent's constant insinuations. "He asked me, 'You will be ready to do everything, right?'" she revealed. I assured him that I would work hard and fulfill the role's requirements, but he persisted, so I pretended to be stupid to see how low he would go."
Fatima reminisced about another hyderabad event and her aspirations to land a role in a South indian movie, which she thought would be a springboard to Bollywood. The producers would discuss it candidly, saying things like, 'You know, here you have to meet people,'" she added. Instead of saying things directly, they would make odd inferences. Naturally, they would state it subtly while yet making their intentions apparent. 'You have to meet people' or 'You have to do this and that' is something they would say.
Fatima admitted that not all people in the profession act in this way, despite these difficulties. "It is heartbreaking to hear the stories of what certain actors and actresses have endured," she said, expressing sympathy over the bad experiences of some people. She emphasized that even the most well-known artists and actresses have experienced abuse and that these situations are quite concerning.
