Akshay Kumar recently discussed his opinions on why films aren't doing as well in theaters these days in an interview. He claims that since the epidemic, people are more likely to view movies on over-the-top (OTT) platforms since they are aware that the films would be available for streaming a few days after they are released.

However, this is illogical, and the assertion has also caused disagreement among netizens. Since the epidemic, there have been a lot of blockbuster films, and even low-budget films like stree 2 have done quite well. However, even prior to the epidemic, Akshay's films were not doing well. His films, such as bachchan pandey and Selfiee, fail to captivate viewers, and his acting is also unimpressive.

He completes films in 30 or 40 days, and even in highly anticipated films like "Prithviraj," there is absolutely no sign of love or commitment. In recent years, akshay kumar has recreated a number of South indian films, and the reason for this isn't OTT at all. The film "Soorarai Pottru" was remade in his film "Sarfira." When soorarai pottru debuted on OTT, it had a fantastic audience, but Sarfira didn't do well in theaters or on OTT.

"A lot of people tell me that they will watch the movie when it comes on OTT," he says. Thus, that is the primary cause. That's what it is all about. Let's go right to the point. It's true. Since COVID, things have changed. Instead than being afraid of OTT, a celebrity like akshay kumar should embrace it and adjust his writing choices accordingly to fit the times. He cannot continue to blame OTT for his failures, and his robotic performances will not get him anywhere.
