The release of Game Changer was highly awaited by mega fans. After three years of development, Shankar's film was ultimately released in theaters on january 10 as a Sankranthi treat. However, the picture could not even reach the bare minimum of expectations at the box office, and scathing reviews surfaced from the very first showing.
 
With no information for a whole year during Game Changer's production, director Shankar really tried the patience of Mega fans. Fans were not moved by even the highly anticipated music. Many people criticized the movie, calling it a parody of Shankar's earlier works.

Although ram charan received some recognition for his performance, the film's terrible reception mostly eclipsed it. For Mega fans, Game Changer proved to be a major letdown. To make matters worse, Chiranjeevi's movie Vishwambhara was disqualified from the Sankranthi competition in favor of Game Changer. With its fantasy and family themes, many think Vishwambhara would have been the ideal holiday film. Fans believe the movie, in which chiranjeevi portrays a brother to five sisters, might have done well at the box office, much as Hanuman did the previous year.
 
Vishwambhara's delay was caused by a number of circumstances, including unfinished OTT negotiations and awaiting VFX work, in addition to Game Changer. Nevertheless, it may have been terrible to release the movie with the VFX seen in the trailer. social media trolling resulted from harsh criticism of the teaser's visuals. Mega fans may have suffered yet another humiliation if it had been hurried for Sankranthi. According to reports, the team is completely redesigning the VFX in order to prevent this and strive for better looks.
 
In retrospect, it appears that Mega fans' Sankranthi was bound to be a catastrophe. The result might not have been all that different if Game Changer or Vishwambhara had been released with earlier visuals. Now, fans are hoping that the additional time invested on Vishwambhara would guarantee a better end result and help them trust megaprojects again. Vishwambhara may yet have a chance to be successful because it is now anticipated to be released in the summer.
