Paatal Lok, which debuted a new season on amazon Prime Video a few days ago, has surprisingly been well welcomed. The plot and the main cast members' performances have received high appreciation from viewers. However, a lot of fans have also fallen in love with the new members of the main cast, such as prashant Tamang, who plays sharpshooter Daniel. For those who do not know, prashant is well-liked by the Nepali community and was the 2007 winner of the reality show Indian Idol.
 
Prashant joined the kolkata police as a constable after losing his father in an accident many years ago. He also played in the police orchestra before attending the indian idol auditions and winning the finals against amit Paul. After releasing an album called Dhanyavad, he ultimately decided to pursue acting as a second profession. Gorkha Paltan, his debut movie, was released in 2010, and he went on to act in several additional movies.
 
Notably, before appearing in Paatal Lok, he had taken a lengthy hiatus from performing. Given that audiences have praised his performance, he already has a sizable social media following, and it appears that this following will only grow. prashant is a prime illustration of how OTT platforms have always aided in identifying and attracting fresh talent.
