The topic of celebrity cancer stories is receiving a heated airing due to the latest spat between Rozlyn Khan and Hina Khan. One person who has survived stage 4 cancer, Rozlyn Khan, says she thinks Hina Khan fabricated her claim of having cancer in order to get attention. She has stated that Hina Khan is lying when she says that reality is being exaggerated.

In response to Hina's assertion that she had a 15-hour mastectomy, Rozlyn stated in an interview that the latter was extremely unlikely and not typical of routine medical operations. She described how her mastectomy procedure took eight to ten hours, and she said that patients typically remain unconscious for a few days following the procedure.

Because Hina had traveled following chemotherapy treatments, which is against any doctor's recommendation to cancer patients, Rozlyn was concerned that she would mislead people and hurt some in the name of mimicking what she had recently done. In addition, Rozlyn made fun of Hina for providing scant information regarding therapy and threatened to assault her over the cancer information she had first provided.

In order to support her accusations, Rozlyn requested that Hina provide her medical documents. She claimed that without this openness, she would become less credible in the eyes of her supporters and other cancer survivors. This dispute highlights a significant problem in the entertainment industry, particularly with regard to celebrities' obligations to spread a true health message.
