After kissing many female fans during a recent live performance, veteran singer udit narayan is receiving backlash online. Videos that have gone viral on social media claim that Udit Narayan's female followers gathered close to the stage to take photos with him when he was playing Tip Tip Barsa Paani.
 
One of his admirers turned around and gave him a cheek kiss. The singer then kissed the woman on the lips in exchange for her gesture.
 
Udit Narayan kissed the singer's cheek as another woman tried to embrace and kiss her. According to widely shared videos from the concert, the artist kissed another woman on the lips. Nevertheless, this action did not sit well with some internet users, and udit narayan is currently receiving a lot of trolling on social media. "Tell me it's AI, tell me it is!" said one commenter. What a nightmare. Beyond the bounds of distaste. Someone else remarked, "A singer of his stature should be super conscious of his deeds in public." Somebody on social media posted, "Udit Narayan…no way… I'm hoping this is AI. If not, the entire heritage is obliterated. "The crowd cheering is making it worse," said another.

Some of the singer's fans defended him in spite of the criticism, believing that the kisses were "consensual" despite being improper. "I mean, this is disgusting… but what's wrong with this?" someone wrote. Were they coerced? No, they approached him voluntarily. Another said, "He's quite strange for kissing strangers, but these women are also doing it voluntarily, so there's really nothing we can do. This degree of fan behavior is beyond my comprehension.
