February is typically thought of as Tollywood's dry season because of the low box office receipts and earnings during this month. One of the elements contributing to this is the high caliber of academic programs offered at educational institutions. However, with many new films scheduled for release in february, this month looks to be quite busy for Tollywood.

The most well-known of the group is perhaps Thandel, which signifies the collaboration of director Chandoo Mondeti and naga Chaitanya. The buzz around this movie isn't quite as great as what was initially anticipated when it was revealed that chaitanya and sai pallavi would be sharing the screen. However, this movie is expected to be content-driven and, if the word-of-mouth is strong, it will have no trouble drawing viewers to theaters.

In addition to this main choice for the telugu audience, we have three additional unconfirmed chances that, if they receive positive word-of-mouth, may succeed at the box office. The aforementioned movies include Pattudala (Vidaa Muyarchi, starring ajith in Tamil), which opens on february 6. Even if this particular movie doesn't have many advantages, the trailer that was previously published promised stylish action that may appeal to a tiny telugu audience.

Then we have two young telugu people, Vishwak Sen and kiran Abbavaram, who are coming with Dilruba and Laila, respectively. In honor of Valentine's Day, both movies will be released on february 14. Viswak is coming with water, which seems to be a slapstick comedy in which he makes a cameo as a woman, while Abbavaram is bringing a commercial love story. He is loudly marketing the movie in his own way.

It's true that none of the february films listed above have a lot of excitement, but if they get the word out and manage to get people to the theaters, they may all be huge surprises. One may argue that naga chaitanya has the best chance with Thandel.
