Nirmala Sitharaman's best budget till date!

The first full-time budget of the third term of the Modi government was presented by Union Finance minister nirmala sitharaman on 1 february 2025. In this budget, while on one hand the biggest relief was given to the middle class and their income up to 12 lakhs was kept tax-free, many announcements were also made for the development of infrastructure. Loan limits were increased from startups to Kisan Credit Card. Similarly, the limit of tax deduction on interest income for senior citizens was doubled from the current Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh.

IIMC professor shivaji Sarkar made it clear that this is a completely development-oriented step. Praising this budget, he said that this time it is better than all the previous seven budgets of Nirmala Sitharaman so far. Explaining the reason for this, shivaji Sarkar said that especially salaried people and MSMEs have been taken care of.

Nirmala's excellent budget

He said that not only the growth of the manufacturing sector has been thought about but Bihar and delhi have been given special preference, because there are elections in both those places. Special announcement for Makhana of Mithila, announcement for patna IIT and airport... all these things show that a lot of importance has been given in the budget.

Apart from this, if we talk about tax, earlier income up to seven lakhs was kept tax free. But, the decision to give exemption on income up to 12 lakhs will be very good for growthbecause whatever people will save from this, it will send a good signal to the market.

If we talk about the agriculture sector, this sector has been under a lot of pressure. In such a situation, earlier loan was available up to 3 lakhs on Kisan Credit Cardnow it has been increased to Rs 5 lakh. Also, the announcement of giving Rs 60 thousand crore for food processing will be of great benefitbecause now the focus will be on increasing food exports.
