On february 12, Rashtrapati Bhavan's gates will open for a historic first: a wedding ceremony will take place inside the building. This occurred after President Droupadi Murmu approved the upcoming wedding in the facility after being "highly impressed" by the person's service and behavior.

After learning about the wedding, the President reportedly proposed that the event be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan's mother teresa Crown Complex; however, Rashtrapati Bhavan has not yet issued an official statement. It is anticipated that only close friends and family will attend the wedding.
