After a lengthy break, pooja hegde made a comeback to the film industry. pooja Hegde's reputation in tollywood declined after she scored telugu box office failures like "Radhe Shyam" and "Acharya," and her prospects dried up. Returning to the screen took almost two years.

She starred as a journalist in "Deva," her first film in two years, which opened in theaters Wednesday. She actively marketed the film in an effort to gain momentum for her 2025 premiere.

Regular moviegoers, however, gave "Deva" a lukewarm reception and its first-day receipts were subpar. Fortunately, reviews from critics were positive. Most people agree that it's a mixed bag. shahid Kapoor's portrayal of the male hero in the movie has an interesting turn.

The 2013 malayalam movie "Mumbai Police" is being remade. It was adapted in telugu as "Hunt," starring Sudheer Babu. In telugu, chitra shukla portrayed the female lead, and in Hindi, pooja hegde did the same. But still, the mixed reviews is a huge dent in pooja Hegde's return to the big screen and she now waits for 'Retro'.

This year, pooja hegde has a number of other films scheduled for release, such as "Retro" by Suriya and "Jana Nayagan" by Thalapathy Vijay.
